About Us

Welcome to the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI-DS) at KJSIT. Established in the academic year 2020-2021, our department offers a comprehensive undergraduate program, B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This program is designed to provide students with knowledge and expertise in the rapidly growing fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science (DS).

AI and DS are interdisciplinary branches of science, engineering, and technology that are revolutionizing various sectors of the technical industry, academia, and research. Our program focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills to create intelligent machines and develop real-world applications using data analytics and visualization technologies. Machine Learning (ML), a subset of AI, enables computers to think and act like humans, while Deep Learning, a subset of ML, allows machines to make decisions and think in a manner similar to humans. Student Committees

National Services Scheme

NSS is one of the aided extra-curricular activities conducted by the University of Mumbai and the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The NSS was launched in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of students through voluntary service to society. It aims to instill a sense of social responsibility, empathy, and active citizenship among the youth.
KJSIEIT NSS Unit started in September 2015 with 50 Members.

Industry Institute Interaction Cell

IIIC is a dedicated cell to encourage the close interaction of industry and various departments of the institute. It makes good platform for showcasing best practice, latest technological advancements and their implementation and impact on the industry. It strives to enhance industry interaction with students and faculty to bridge the gap between the academic and community world.

Society For DataScience

The Society for Data Science (S4DS) at KJSIT College, inaugurated on March 23, 2023, focuses on three core objectives: institute-level projects, high-demand technical skills, and fostering collaboration. S4DS specializes in domains like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, AR/VR, IoT, Frontend, Web3/Blockchain, Cyber Security, and Cloud Native, providing a comprehensive tech exploration platform.
